Product Info

Minimum 400g of chipolata sausages (12 per pack), 350g unsmoked streaky bacon.

Chipolatas Ingredients:

British Pork (80%), Water, Bread Rusk (Wheat flour, Salt, Yeast, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Salt, Spices (Black Pepper, Nutmeg, Ginger, Pimento, Dextrose), Stabiliser: Triphosphate, Preservative: Sodium Metabisulphite (Sulphite), Natural Casing.

Our Pigs In Blankets Kit include chipolatas and streaky bacon, enough for 12 pigs. Simply wrap each chipolata in a rasher and roast in the oven. Christmas dinner isn’t complete without Pigs In Blankets!

Cooking Instructions

Heat oven to 190°C / 170°C fan / Gas 5.
Delicately separate the bacon rashers in half length ways.
Place the bacon on the board & starting with one end of the sausage, slowly wrap a piece of bacon around each of the chipolatas.
Not essential but if you have available, line your baking tray with baking paper and pop the chipolatas on the tray.
Cook for 30-35 mins until golden, turning after 15-20 mins.

Handy Tips

Steps 2–4 can be done the night before.
The Pigs can be cooked when your delicious turkey is resting so they’re hot when served.

Average taste - not being assembled is a pain and not being able to freeze

Would not have bought if I realised they came unassembled and could not be frozen. I had over ordered to have over the Christmas period thinking I could freeze a couple of packets as the BBF date a short. Also taste average - please also supply gluten free!!

A very high price for reasonable sausages and average bacon. Very disappointed the bacon was unsmoked. Would not order again when cheaper and better can be found at any supermarket. REPLY: Thanks for your feedback. Sorry you were disappointed, we did several taste tests before deciding on which sausages & bacon to include in our kit but appreciate not everyone has the same taste.

Had to make up ourselves, flavour’s good but overall too big for my liking

Nationwide delivery by our nominated couriers on 22nd December. Your order will be packed in recyclable insulated packaging and will be dispatched on a pre 2pm next day service. Year Round & Non-Christmas Orders

Collect from the Farm in Cookham (SL6 9UB), we are open around Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, excluding Bank Holidays. Weekly nationwide delivery, arriving Thursday each week.
