We offer delicious award-winning free-range whole bronze turkeys that are packed with juicy meat and have a rich traditional flavour. Our turkeys are truly the best of the best, being free-range, hand-plucked, and game-hung for two weeks.
We select bronze breed turkeys for their award-winning flavour and texture, but this does mean that sometimes their feather stubs are visible. Our birds are dry-plucked by hand, and we do not blast them with water, so you might find a few more feather stubs than on commercial turkeys. However, this is completely normal. Please do not spend time pulling these out as most of them will burn off during cooking.
Each bird comes boxed with giblets, a recipe leaflet, and a handy pop-up timer.
Wonderful flavour....an essential part of Christmas.

Have bought these turkeys for over 25 years. Never disappoints. Collection day has become our family start to Christmas even though our ‘children’ are now 30. Fabulous job Copas.

Best turkey ever! Everyone really enjoyed it and it was so easy to cook with the instructions provided. Very little seasoning required as the flavour of the turkey is so scrumptious on its own.

As always, so much more flavour than birds we have previously bought from supermarkets. Although more expensive compared with frozen turkeys they are well worth the difference if you value taste. Collection day is also an event in itself and think seriously about taking the children as they will enjoy it.

Not cheap but worth every penny as proved by the years I've been buying from Copas
1. Insert the pop-up cooking timer into the breast of the bird. 2. Remove our traceability wing label and place your turkey, breast side down in a roasting tin. 3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper then cover with foil. 4. Cook at the starting temperature (220ºC / 200ºFan / 430ºF / Gas Mark 7) for 30 minutes then reduce the oven to the roasting temperature (180ºC / 160ºFan / 375ºF / Gas Mark 4) for the remainder of the cooking time. 5. Remove the foil approximately 30 minutes before the end to allow the skin to brown. 6. Remove the turkey from the oven once the Pop-Up Timer pops, or your meat thermometer reads 68 degrees, Cover the bird with foil & allow to rest for up to an hour.

Collect from the Farm in Cookham (SL6 9UB), we are open around Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, excluding Bank Holidays.
