This year, in terms of prepping the turkey, I had very little work to do getting rid of remaining feather quills. The turkey was lovely and flavoursome too.
I always buy my turkey from the farm and traditionally although the bird is very clean on the inside but it usually has a lot of quills that need to be removed, as we are a family that likes to eat the skin on the bird. This year it was a turkey heaven sent. So easy to clean and prepare. Thank you to whoever decided to improve the plucking.
